It's fair to say that Miguel is in love with the land, with farming, with nature in a way with Earth and Humanity. For those who don't know Miguel, he is a seasoned school food service leader with over 30 years of experience who has championed healthy, local food initiatives in California and Texas. His journey began as a farm laborer, fueling his passion for nutrition and fitness. His Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition led him to work as a School Food Service Administrator, and he soon acquired his Master of Science in Business Administration. His dedication to improving student well-being has led to significant advancements in school food programs nationwide.

Miguel has been featured in the Netflix show You Are What You Eat and is regularly invited as keynote speaker at Stanford University.
